Do I have a case?

Just looking for some opinions, thanks.
In Aug 06' I broke my femur in a car accident, I was rushed to the hospital and given surgury the next day to repair the break with a rod and screws. I went though physical therapy, many doctor's visits, etc. Finally, with xrays done the surgeon cleared me almost 6 months later to go back to work.

For the past few months I have had continuous pain. I recently went to a new doctor and after looking and old and new xrays found out my fracture has never healed, and that I need corrective surgery asap (take the old rod out and put in a bigger rod to stimulate some growth). I got a second opinion at one of the top rated hospitals in the US (Jefferson University/Rothman Institute) and discovered the same thing, surgury to repair my still broken femur. Both said that with the surgury that leaves me 5-7 months out of work. I work full time and will miss my annual raise, my continued schooling, etc. Is this something that I can bring to an attorney or is it a waste or time? Thank you.

Sounds like a case to me. If two doctors both confirm that the initial doctor's diagnosis that you were healed or ready to return to work were wrong, that would seem pretty clear.
