Defamation/libel

If a person filed a false police report then a false report with your attorney in attempts to get you arrested or fired and both failed , is there bases to bring this person to small claims court.

Small Claims court generally only handle cases of actual loss. Defamation type suits would require civil court.

There are two elements of a defamation suit. First is the defamation, second is the loss. You not only have to prove the defamation, but that you were harmed by it. I would ask the police to pursue the false police report and a harassment charge

You can talk to the DA about criminal charges for filing a false police report ( did they file two ) not sure what the file with attorney was all about ?.
