How to start a business

I am very interested in starting a background check business but, do not know how to get started. I assume there are some laws, etc. Also, is there some type of class or course I need to take to get certified.

If you are asking about becoming a Licensed Private Investigator (your license allows you access to all sorts of otherwise closed records) there is a licensing exam and an experience requirement.

Are you a Police Officer, in the Military, an insurance investigator/adjuster?
