How do I open my own insurance comapny in GA?

I live in Georgia and have recently passed the P&C insurance exam. I want to start my own independent insurance company selling property and auto insurance. What do I need to do next?

Find a company that will allow you to sell. Many will want you to work for them in their office, being a new agent it may be hard to get a contract on your how, but you will contact many of the indepentent agencies and see about getting an appointment.
