Liorice extract can definitely help with lightening, but is not the strongets of lighteners
Avobenzone is used in sunscreen products because it helps absorb UVA rays
Tetrahydrocurcumin cg is found in the turmeric spice. It is a good antioxidant and it can help with lightening, although I do not know by how much.
Sisoflavones are from soy beans, and may help increase the hyaluronic acid (keeps skin hydrated), also keeps skin protected from sun damage.

All in all this may lighten slightly, although personally I doubt any significant lightening. The percentage of the active ingredients versus inactive ingredients also plays an important role on how effective the product is. You can continue using it, as it may be a good moisturizer also and note I it helps to lighten much.

But what about the faceclin-a gel, can I use it on my fullface in night or in affected areas only? (scare marks of pimples on my face)

What are the ingredients in faceclin-a gel? If the gel helps in lightening the scars and other areas I don't see why not.

Adapalene (adapalean) "is a topical retinoid primarily used in the treatment of mild-moderate acne and is also used (off-label) to treat keratosis pilaris (rough, bumpy skin) as well as other skin conditions."
Adapalene - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Clindamycin phosphate usp "is used in the treatment of acne", among other used.
Clindamycin Topical Official FDA information, side effects and uses.

Retinoids are vitamin derivatives, so it should help with exfoliation and evening the skin, and possibly slight lightening. But, mainly clearing up acne, this is my observation from what I have read. So, it's up to you if you want to apply it to the entire face or just the infected areas. Personally, I would it on the scar marks first and see how the skin reacts maybe once or twice a day, and then go from there also using a good moisturizer. Also, emailing or calling the company who makes this crème is a good idea as they would be able to give you more beneficial information than I can.

Was your doctor not able to advice you with this? Are you not confident with what he is prescribing you? I would have also have thought that the product would come with usage and precaution instructions if it was prescribed by a Doctor. Have you checked this out ?

Ok suvendu... firstly melaglow ingredients are very good for skin..

Secondly... ANY ACNE INHIBITING TREATMENTs are CAPABLE OF LIGHTENING PEOPLE>. CLASSIC EXAMPLE WAS RETIN A ITSELF..

Melaglow has ingredients that can lighten.. and although it is correct that I won't create significant lightening... it can do so if you use in in combination with other creams that help lightening.. but that's got to be a trial and error method I guess... maybe you could try something internal while using melaglow such as msm or glutathione

Lol.. mepk5 I have not used msm... my aunt used to use it for arthritis...

And it did nothing to her skin in terms of lightening... I remmeber

I'm just suggesting since he is using this melaglow whatever which eveyrone is ranting and raving about... that maybe external use and internal use of ingredients might help..

No I am not using msm ! But I may try using it later on because I want my hair to grow faster... because I suffer from seborrheic dermatitis... I never grow my head hair anymore keep it shaved.. I'm fed up of the look now... may wish to grow my hair back... so that might help quicker growth.. I'm not going to expect any lightening out of it though !

Faceclin actually helps out... there's no second thought about it... in fact I had many pimples on my face, since when I was 17 n now m 24... my skin is cleared... n no redish marks, scars not even a single pimple. It also smooths your skin... u can apply it for 2hrs and wash your face...
