My product is stuck at Post office. Will they arrest me ?
    Guys!

I just happened to order a lightening product in powder form from China.

It never came. I checked and realised its held at the post office and they are awaiting me to pick it up.

What if its monobenzone or mequinol? Is it illegal in UK? If it is , will I be arrested for it ?

All I wanted to ever do is lighten my skin . I have spend two years of my life trying to do so. And now this!

I don't have a clue how to get out of this situation. Im so scared right now.

Help me guys ! What should I say to the post office people ?

Its like a kilo of pure powder!

I HOPE this IS an April fool Joke, but just in case it isn't, here's what I've got to say... I think this is a learning lesson to all that want to or are using illigal lightening agents.. when will you lot ever learn? Does it have to get to this stage where one realises that it ILLIGAL for a REASON! And just because the rest of those who are on to using the nasty stuff haven't been caught yet that day will come! So please people act responsibly and be aware of the consequences.. its no laughing matter..
As for you missy, I suggest you make up some story to save your , but if all goes well , this is a Major sogn for all to STOP using illigal creams and if still in the quest to lighten your skin, go for the SAFE and LEGAL options that may take a little more time but work PERFECTLY well, you won't know until you've tried.. In my previous post I advised another member about skin lightening creams in the uK, the res;pose I got was ''oh their no good' how can one determine what's good and bad, without having tried it? There are a lot of cowboys on the internet trying to sell their stuff and suck in naïve individuals like yourself.. why would anyone want to have a patchy white disfigured face, as that's what these illigal creams do ultimatly.. its completely beyond my understanding, its like sticking a knife up your throat.. I really don't know what to say to you or other member of this forum who think its OK do go about this thinking I've buy it under the counter and will never get caught.. as I said if not today you will tomorrow.. because you ordered a kilo they could think your using this to 'make money'
But to save you , you could say you ordered something else like arbutin or something and got this ( that's if they queston you) fingers crossed you'll be OK, but as I said take this as a learning lesson, for all not to repeat.

You have not said what the product is. What is it?

Some products/ingredients are not legal in the US (which I can guess you already know). You need to confirm the above before you try to buy them.

So what product did you buy?

I mean to say you could say you ordered arbutin but received the other stuff instead which you Didn't want... hopefully no more illigal stuff next time for everyone...

I think if your product was considered illegal it would not even have passed the customs.

Customs does not open every package. They cannot catch everything.

Yes, it passed customs. There is little (probably no) chance that the recipient would be arrested... but that's beside the point. The asker should be smarter about what he/she buys on the internet.

I have the feeling that the buyer knew that he/she was buying a product that is not legal in the US... but we have yet to see since imgorgeous has not yet given the further information that has been asked for.

Why are you worried? If it passed customs then you are OK. I usually get one of those notes when I order something that has to be delivered in person, and I miss the delivery they put a note on your door when they come twice and you are not home, then you just go pick it up, that's probably all it is. Are you in the U.S.

I think they are based in the UK. My thoughts on this is that you don't even know what you bought?! Maybe it really is an April Fools joke.

Imgorgeous, you should have asked around, the China lady goes under lots of bogus company names like Chendu, Raphe, on chemical sites offering everything from mono to steroids
But its all baby powder and starch. The spanish guy from Florida and a lot of people on dD got scammed by her.

    @ everyone -

I am sorry. I had gone off some place.

I collected it today from the post office. Apparently, the people at the post office just wanted me to collect it in person .

I feel terrible because when I asked why they didn't send it across , since the address is complete and intact, he said that the delivery man has been BUSY WATCHING FOOTBALL MATCHES THE WHOLE WEEK and then EASTER CAME..

Arrgghhhh - id like to kick their asses for the delay and the amount of work I have put on stop just to find a way to receive the package.

Well at least it is sorted ! Do you actually know what you got then ? Please be careful about putting things on your skin that you are not sure about, especially if you don't know what it is.
