How can you fix dark skin from the affects of using Fair & White products

I use to use Fair&white products just for little marks a long time ago and I never had a problem. I recently bought the product again along with some newer fair&white products and mixed them together and my skin started to peel quite badly and then I got ugly light marks where I put the product on. I have very dark skin so now I have light patches on parts of my face. I use to have really good skin. Will my skin darken back up and is their anything I can do to help it darken back up. Or maybe a dermatologist can help?
