Can I die? Please help me someone!
    :( Heey!
I'm a 18 year old girl, that used movate cream for some month and didn't see any result so I used it up to six time or more a day. Then I accidentally got it round my mouth and lips, but I just dryed it with a towel and didn't think think much about any side effects. Then after a while a stopped using the cream cause I started to feel bad and my skin became red. Then I week or two later I started to see some black spots and thougt that I was a allergic to somethng a eat, so I just ignore it. Some weeks later I saw some more and I noticed something wrong with my lips, so I told my mom and she said it was nothing wrong with my lips. But I knew that was, so I when online and looked up in Google about the cream and read a story about a girl that had the same spots as me, but she had also high blood pressure and almost died. So that got me more worried cause she notice the spots a month after use it. So I went to my docter and told him that I used that cream but he just told me that it wasen't that bad. Then a week later I became very ill, my skin was burning and I started to have headaches, and I knew it was something to do with the cream cause I did get it round my mouth and I use to lick round my mouth and I didn't was the cream proply. I got the cream in my nose as well. I was sick for more then I months time and we went to severl docters but they couldn't find anything wrong with me. And one day we went to the hospital cause I had fanit and my mom became worried, at the hospital I met the docter and the ran some test and said that they were going to do I MR- x-ray. So when the did that the saw that I had a brain inflammation. But they didn't know that cause it.
My question is can movate cream really harm a human being like that?
What can happen if you get the cream inside yourself? Like by licking it
Can it destoy me? Or are our bones stronger? My skin is still red and I can still feel the burning feeling. Is there anything I can do to be as I use to?

    Please help me!

I do think your allergic to that stuff, but I don't think it could do that much(tho I can't just deny the probability)
things seemed to be getting worse after u saw the post from that unfortunate gal,so I guess psychology might be one of the causes... anyway its good that u could go and consult your doctor.

If you are worried talk to a family member and go to a doctor. You might be allergic to the cream. Hope you feel better soon.

I used Movate about a year ago and it did a great job fading my acne scars. After the scars were completely gone I stopped using it. About two months ago I used it again and my skin got very very irritated. It burned my skin and made it peel only to reveal raw red skin. I developed a terrible non stop headache. I didn't go see a doctor. What I did was drink a lot of water and stop putting anything on my face.

Well I used Amira cream and I got horrible headaches and felt like I was having a nosebleed... I also went to get treatment and they could not find anything... I almost fainted in the shower. There must be a link... and I am dying to find out... My back and liver also hurted nonstop but the bloodtests at the hospitials showed normal...

Why are you using banned creams, such as Movate.
Would you like to pour bleach on your face?
That what that cream is doing, because you get burned skin. Your skin may get lighther but you stripping off one of your skin layer. Remember, you have only 3 of them.
A message to A Worried Girl, it is so unfortunate what is happening to you and you are so young. Stop using that cream. Avoid any contact with bacteria. Remember to sanitize your hands and eat well cooked meat, such as burgers, and wash vegetable (remember the spinach outbreak). Because if coli is in contact with your mouth, it can cause serious health problems.
    Only time may heal!
    Good luck!

It would help greatly, if when you post regarding a cream you used, to let us know the ingredients in the product, that would be a great help. When a doctor shrugs you off, don't let them.
From what I have read above, a blood test should have been given.
Please post ingredients in a product, as I stated this would help us, identify the culprit. People can't help if they don't have more facts.
    Thanks!

From your experience it seems that it is being harmful. Please seek medical attention ASAP and bring the product you use to the Doctor or hospital and let them know the amount of times you used it and your accidental ingestion of the product. This will help them figure out if the cream is causing your symptome.

DO NOT DELAY ANY LONGER! Hope you feel better and all goes well. Take care.

Girl please get over yourself. It's all in your mind. I have used movate for years and never had side effects. You are just trippin and being overly dramatic. Your redness or whatever is probably from something else.

You should not only see your doctor put you should also let them know you are using movate which is a steroid cortecosteroid, its possible too much of it absorbed thought your skin and got into your bloodstream, be careful and disclose all of this info to your doctor they may not be aware of the active ingredients in movate

^This post is from 2006, and obviously no one ever even read the girl's post! People kept telling her to "go to the doctor" when she clearly explained that she went to the doctor and even had an X-ray scanning lol.

Damn people, you were sure of great help! :P
