Black Women Only! What skin lightener was most effective for you?

From what I've researched makari products have shown the most effectiveness on lightening brown to dark skin, with some cases of breakouts. I'll be ordering my soon and shall post before and after pics.

Black women who only want to hear from other Black women should post on a Black women forum.

No one has the right to DEMAND only certain people answer.

Ridiculous - of course, note the text speak and consider the source.

And I agree - you were unjustly criticized.

juda i dont think the poster had any ill intentions i think they only wanted to hear from other woman of teh same ethnicity as herself. its not racist, they simply wanted to know what works best on african american skin.
furthermore this forum is one of the largest forums on the net and many black womaen are members compared to other sites that have a lower membership.

Judy, I think that the OP is being misunderstood and you may be taking this the wrong way. There is no need to say that is she wants opinion from black women she should go post on a black forum, i think that is unnecessary.
I think as we can see from the responses the OP received several people who were not black replied, and their replies were appreciated. I dont think Punk chic is black if am correct. I think the other ladies question was just unpleasant. This is a skin lightening forum, dont come in here asking me why do i want to change the color or my skin, its simply not your business, and the other lady did not even attempt to answer the OP's question she replied by asking her a question that just came out sounding very demeaning.
Its not surprising you as well have been curious about this and the truth is that its different for everybody, there is no one reason for why people want to lighten their skin, and the same way that white people tan, it puzzles some black people who think fair skin is beautiful.
I thinks its very irritating when you post a question especially with this skin lightening process and the first response you get is someone asking you why do you want to change your skin. I think if someone is really curious about that they can either start a new topic asking black people why they do that or simply read theough the archives because that question has been asked before.
Also, i think the OP, stated black people because black skin is thicker and lightening creams that work on caucasian or asian skin may not work for black people.

Peace.

I've seen that too often, instead of answering the question they only ask a question. Thats very frustrating.

What part of this am I misunderstanding? "Originally Posted by ma889 - Ill think ull find it says black women only!!!"

If I want to hear from a specific group and only that specific group, I go that group's website - in this case that would be Black women.

Hello, JudyKayTee.
I have wrote about this on the skin lightening FAQ. Here is the thread http://www.askmehelpdesk.com/skin-li...ns-190905.html

Have a great day!

Hi JudykayTee,
I am not black woman although I am brown. I didn't mind when I see Cherryblueskie's question because there is nothing wrong with her question. As Cutebeth said, I think you are misunderstanding on this question. In my opinion, this question means "what skin lightener is effective for black women's skin", it doesn't necessarily mean "black women only answer what skin lightener is effective". Why don't you see this question in that way??

Yaaa... I strongly agree with you. Some ppls, they just want to post and don't really have any idea about the questions. Then, they ask question back to the poster. Someone ask me back to my question once like: 'Why aren't you happy with what you are now?".
Think about it ! if I am happy with what I am now, I will not ask any questions for any advices And it is none of their business to ask me why. Isn't it??

I was responding to this: "Luscious Leo disagrees: No offense, but what part of Black women only don't you understand?"

Do you use text speak to save time when on the board?
