Sorry I fooled you Shaz.

I've used eye cream before and it did nothing for the darkness. It seems I have very strong melanocytes around my eyes, genetically. Well us indians are notorious for that.

Here's a site that details many of the causes of under eye circles (everything from thinning skin and sun damage to iron deficiency)

And it also gives some great tips on how to get rid of them (including vitamin K creams, cucumbers to cutting back on sodium in your diet)

Dark Circles Under Eyes - What Can I Do About Dark Circles Under The Eyes
Hey Shaz, do you know anything that's good for bags under the eyes? I sometimes have them when I don't get enough rest and cucumbers sometimes just is not enough.

Hey Golden Girl,

I always keep a couple of tea bags in the refrigerator in a shallow glass of water if I know I'm going to be having some late nights. (glug glug )

I just lay back and put the cold moist tea bags over my eyes for maybe 5-10 minutes and it really reduces the baggyness.
The antioxidants in the tea as well as them just being nice and cool do wonders (even if you look a bit strange)

What kind of tea bags, is it green tea? once in awhile I get the bags, they are not very noticeable and are rare. but, I notice them.

Sorry for the late reply...

I just use ordinary tea, not green, although I'm sure green would probaby have the same effect if not better. I'm a big tea drinker so I just use the bags in my drink (before adding sugar and milk) and then put the used ones in a cup of water in the fridge, saves money that way (I'm a tight arse haha)
Had to do that over the weekend due to some self inflicted tiredness

how do I remove the ugly veins--tiny blue-red-purple veins from under my eyes? Also I have winkle; I was wondering if LASER is good idea to remove wrinkles >?
Any one has done removal of red and purple veins under eys close to eys? Are they easy to remove by laser? do they come back?

probably the only thing that would work for prominent veins under your eyes is laser, to shrink or burn them away

I agree with SweetCaroline. Laser Treatment and Sclerotherapy are used to treat veins.

For wrinkles there is retin-a (tretinoin) which is the acid form of vitamin A and is used to help improve the appearance of wrinkles, to treat acne, scars, etc. and it comes in the following strengths 0.025%, 0.05%, and 0.1%
