Acne scar treatment and skin lightening

I am desparate for any answers or anyone that can help me. I'm a 29 year old dark skinned black woman who has suffered from acne since I was a teenager, which has left scarring on my face, back and chest. All I want is something that will help diminish the scars. I feel extremely depressed because I can't wear certain clothing because I have to cover up my skin because of severe embarassment and shame. I have hidden my condition for years from my family, friends and loved ones. One of my best friends is getting married in a few months and I am dreading the day when she asks me to be a bridesmaid and I can't wear a sleeveless or backless dress. I don't know what to do. I feel that I will never get married myself and have a family because of my skin condition. It hurts me so bad that I will never be able to give my dad the opportunity to walk me down the aisle. There is this great guy in my life but he has no idea as to the severity of my condition and it kills me that I will have to let him find someone else. HELP!!! I'm so depressed and I think that I may very well one day become suicidal.

Is there anything that can help me? I love my complexion, I just hate the scars. I only want something that will help the scars fade before I lose the love of my life forever.

Let me tell you this...if a man TRULY loves you then he doesn't love you for your appearance. A good man who really loves you loves everything about you...even your flaws. As far as the acne scars I would recommend going to a local dermatologist or skin care place. There is a machine that they can use that helps reduce the scarring. I worked as a skin care specialist and we treated acne and acne scarred patients with this machine all of the time. Most patients saw great results. Now... as far as being suicidal because of your flaw...I suggest that you seek professional help. Every person on this earth has flaws...even in their appearance, and most women struggle with self-esteem issues. If it is becoming that extreme, then you should turn to someone who can help you. Depression is an illness and it can lead to bad things, but not if you seek help. I'm not sure of your beliefs, but I believe that we have a God who is bigger than anything else in the world. He created you and loves you very much. You were made in his image (as it states in the Word) so you are beautiful. God bless you and I hope that this helped you.
