    What's wrong with me.
I get sad a lot and mad for no reason. I worry myself. I have a nice boyfriend and I love him but today I don't. Today I hate him. I feel like isolating myself today and I don't know why. This happens all the time. Yesterday I was all pumped up to go out to the club with my girls but once we started to head out I lost all interest in the club and wished I was at home. I don't want to shop, which is my fav thing to do. I don't want to go out to the club, or travel anywhere, or go on a nice date, or dress up or anything. I just want to sit at home watch TV and go to work. Am I depressed?

    Or am I bi-polar?

Today right now I may be sad but in 2 hrs I might be happy again. My emotions are all over the place. I've noticed myself acting and speaking like my friends or my boyfriend. Like I'm taking on there personalities and it happens out of no where. What's going on?

There is no clear, definitive answer I can give you, but I can offer you a bit of advice: Get help. Seek answers from a professional psychiatrist, and get diagnosed. It could be a variety of things, or it could be nothing.

It sounds like depression. Bipolar is form of depression and another name for bipolar is manic depression.

Go to a counselor so that you can get evaluate and they would help you. Your mental health is important to your overall health. Many medical problems can develop if your mental isn't right.

When I was depressed in the past I found that excerising worked along with counselling.

    Reality check

Smoking weed contributes to the emotional depression in humans.

Drinking alcohol(which IS a depressant) contributes to emotional depression in humans.

Trying not to be depressed requires either or both of these activities to be curbed.

IF,you think you might have a chemical imbalance, try stopping all extracurricular activities(involving chemical intake)and then seek a professional opinion.

Does the weed contribute before I smoke or after I smoke, cause I'm definitely not depressed when I'm high. But when I'm not... Its back to the sadness and confusion

The only answer would be to seek the amount of time the chemicals stay in your system,How long does THC stay,or any of the other #? Chemicals in weed.

Sure, weed takes reality away, who FEELS ANYTHING while high, but being HIGH?

    It's called escapism.

To escape from reality(no not in the psychotropic sense like LSD,but close)

Using any chemical will alter the minds chemicals, including food and water.

Using non pharmaceuticals like illegal drugs(which could have ANYTHING in them) is a questionable way to 'feel better'

The average prescribed medication for mood elevation,or to put it clearly, any med at all, which is regulated by the AMA,or whoever presides over the medicine making,Has to be tested and approved by many steps. They are 'mostly' safe(until shown not safe... lol)

But the idea is they are safe(for those of us that TAKE them)

Using the street drugs and expecting to 'feel better' or 'get past' an emotional hurdle,is a temporary fix for a (possibly) long term problem.

Chrissy? Did I lose you somewhere?

I really hope this clears up your question about your problem.

    Hi there,

This is not a very big issue as far as I feel. Every single person undergo personality changes. The only difference is in the frequency of the changes. In fact I myself undergo these kinds of changes, but the simple thing is that I don't worry about it. In your case the frequency and the reactions are high... so what I can suggest you is that you should build up self control in yourself because I find it missing in u. for that you can tke help of meditation. Once you learn hoe to keep hold on your feelings u'll feel yourself as a winner..

Hi2011 disagrees: one cannot judge it as a depression without knowing the completehealth background

I never said it was depression. I wrote it sounds like depression and for her to see a counselor so that they can elevate her. Maybe you didn't read what I wrote but you can always go back and reread what I wrote.

Thank you KBC for the balancer.
