Retinol (Vitamin A) for wrinkles

Since retinol is vitamin a, in your opinion, can i put vitamin a from the capsules on my wrinkles to hopefully reduce the fine lines instead of buying creams with vitamin a in skin creams?

Any tips will be appreciated.
