I REALLY need to know how long a suntan lasts on fair skin

Hi. I have fair skin and about 7 months ago I went to Egypt and got really badly sunburned. It turned into a tan in a couple of weeks and 7 months later, it's still there!!

I want to know how long it will take to go away because it hasn't seemed to have faded at all and I have kept completely out of the sun since I got back from Egypt. I'm really concerned (especially since I have major tan lines that just look stupid)

I really want this tan to go away so I would appreciate ANY help you can give me!!

Next time go nude .RESULTS NO TAN LINES .I go to turkey every year and i am fair too i always come back with a lovely tan .The best thing ive found is BIO oil its brill it evens out the skin tones if used regular , and it helps to fade scars the bonus is it also works to prevent wrinkles TRY IT works for me regards .HAPPY TANNING
