Hyperpigmentation on face and around mouth

What is the cause of this hyperpigmentation on face especially around the mouth a dark coloration and how to get rid of it?

I don't know. I've heard that stress and sever trauma to the face can cause it...
Try going to a dermatologist to get some help...I have dark skin discolorations around my mouth as well
