    How to get rid of a keloid scar
    I got my hip peircing and they did it in the wrong spot.I have keloid scars and dey are red.. purple.

    You must have this removed by a dermatologist. My mother had a huge 12" keloid scar from a gall bladder operation and the only thing she could do was to have it removed by a dermatologist. There are no "home remedies" when it comes to keloids. Sorry.

    Depending on how large the keloid is, it may need to surgically removed. I am a plastic surgery resident and we deal with a lot of keloids in practice. If you do have it removed, you should try my new scar serum - Scartini. (Scartini) You can start applying it a few days after surgery and then apply a silicone sheet over it. That should help prevent the keloid from recurring.
