blisters on pubic area

Asked Jun 2, 2012, 12:59 AM — 9 Answers
Hi
I wish to find a dermatologist online to ask about a health condition I have.
Well, I am a 30y female, about five months ago I noticed a blister on the upper part of my pubic area, I ignored it but later on three other blisters appered apart from the old one, they vanished in weeks, last month I noticed the appearance of new three blisters on another part on my pubic area, they are painless, smooth, flesh colored and red when irritaded, they are sort of having the texture of flat skin tag since i can grab them, and bleed if I scratch them accidently. I haven't shaved my pubic area since long time and I have to indicate that these blisters start to appear about five months ago after I gained a lot of weight (35 kilos) (around 70 lb), I thought they are caused as a result of so much fat increased in my body or anything else.

Thank you in advance.

You cant find a dermatologist on line, no one can diagnose on the internet, not even from a picture. I suggest you go to our own doctor for a diagnosis.

Are you sexually active? If so, it sounds like it could be HPV.

Please do not post pictures of your genitals, the site prohibits that and they will be removed.

I'm sorry if you misunderstood, but there are no doctors here that can diagnose you. Diagnosis via the internet is not possible, you will have to see your primary health care physician for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

Have you ever been sexually active or are you a virgin?

I'm sorry I did not respond to your PM as all questions and answers must stay on the public boards.

Since you say you can grab them, I would go with (just a guess!) skin tags related to areas of enclosed and constant moisture, especially if your lower abdomen creases right there since you gained weight.
I have very sensitive and keloid skin and have developed some tiny permanent bumps under my arms and breasts in the last few years (I am 65).
Keep clean, don't leave any soap residue and use mild unscented soaps, and do what I do - be totally dry before dressing. I walk around or lie on my bed. Wear cotton underwear and avoid tight jeans/pants.

However, skin tags don't appear, disapper and reappear.

I asked a dermatologist on phone and described the blisters for him, he told me they are folliculitis, I don't think so , coz i haven't shaved that area for so long , and I did a long online search and I found out that there's posibility that HPV can be transmited by non-sexual methods, so I am so confused right now ...

In the end Sweet_November, you will have to see a doctor in person to get a proper diagnosis.
