Hi everyone,

What is the average cost for dying your hair and getting highlights? I am considering but I would like to see what is the average price, or how much you guys usually pay, including taxes and how much tips do you usually give the hairstylist?

I wanted to get highlights... its 100 juss for the highlights I'm not sure about dying it though

Highlights are about 60, its cheaper if you get stylist to come to your home as they have no overheads this way.

As a ex hairdresser I would suggest you get a mobile hairdresser to call to your home as they have no overheads this way and can provide a great service far cheaper than a highstreet salon. Also you have the style/colour you want in the comfort of your home. Look for qualifications though if you do not know the person.

that's what I was going to say didn't want to make it too complicated though.. I agree its easier if you make one come to your house but when I went to the salon it was 100 maybe its different in different salons you know?

Beauty salons may charge different prices for each of the services they offer. Some salons will charge more if they're famous. You might want to do some research at the salons in your area to find out which salon offers a great service at reasonable prices.
