    How do I get an answer for an accounting problem?
    Yount company reports the follwing/date June 1 inventory 200 units unit cost $7.50 total cost $1,500/june 12 purchases 300 units unit cost $8.50 total cost 2,550/june 23 purchase 500 units unit cost $9.50 total cost 4,750.00

    Just add the number units purchased to the Jun 1 Inventory to get ending inventory count. Just add the total dollar amounts of the purchases to Jun1 total cost to get your ending inventory total cost.

    To get your cost per unit simply take your ending inventory total cost divided by the total ending inventory number of units.
