    Upgrade memory from 2 x 256 Mb DDR modules to 2 x 1Gb modules
    Does this require any changes to bios or chip set? Memory is DDR PC3200 400mhz. OS is Win XP Pro

    Your mobo may not support that amount of RAM, but seeing how cheap it is now, as long as the speeds are correct, it's worth a punt.

    It should work but just make sure your motherboard can support 2gb as it sounds like you have an incredibly outdated computer.
