Are they going to take my baby?
I am currently in a DHS order to give my dad temp guardianship of my 7 year old son and to try to give custody of my 3 1/2 year old daughter to her dad. I currently found out I was pregnant and was wondering if dhs had the right to take this baby when it is born?

It depends on what is going on with your other children really and if they believe your newborn to be at risk.

My children were taken away because I was babysitting a little girl who had a seizure. I called 911 and later in the hospital, a week later, she passed away. They took my kids for their safety as an investigation. This has been over a year ago and I agreed to the terms with my kids so court would close and I didn't have the chance to loose parental rights. I will be getting my son back by the end of this year more than likely. DHS will no longer be involved soon just district court. I need to get insurance for this pregnancy through the state, dhs, and am holding off because I don't know what to do.
