    How to track cat
So someone I know has a cat and the cat is not being fed, and the cat is very skinny. So I asked if I could have the cat, luckily they agreed. However the cat is indoor/outdoor and the previous owner said that the cat goes away and they don't see it for days or even weeks sometimes. I walked around the property calling th cat trying to find it but there is just so many hiding spots... I could never find th cat. The cat has been gone for a week and a half, and I'm really getting anxious to take him home.

How can I find the cat? Is there ways that I can "track" the cat?
    Please help.

Probably the best thing you can do is put out "smelly" food (tuna blend or mackerel -- Fancy Feast has some good smelly ones) in the SAME spot at the SAME time every early morning or evening and in a place that you can watch, if possible. Cats are creatures of habit, so if the cat knows there will be food in a certain familiar place, the cat will show up. I suggest it be in a place where you can see the food, so you can see if Rocky Raccoon or Feral Freddy gets there first.

Borrow a Havahart cat trap from a local shelter or a vet if you must capture the cat. There are vets in our area who deal with and will give medical care to unhappy strays/feral cats, so that may be true in your area too.

If you do finally get your hands on this cat, please be sure to get it neutered, if it isn't already. And thanks for caring about one of our furry friends in need.

Luckily the cat is already neutered. I tried the whole tuna thing, but I just put I everywhere. I love your idea of the same place, same time, everyday but there are 2 problems. 1, I don't live near this persons house and they have dogs that run free.

Cutting Track Lighting track [ 1 Answers ]

Anyone know why Hampton Bay track states that you cannot cut the track? Every other brand allows track to be cut to the needed length and Hampton Bay is worthless to me if I can't cut it.
