Try not washing your hair so much. The more you wash, the more your scalp will produce oil to compensate for the lack of. For camp, try a dry shampoo, like the ones which are powder and absorb the oil, and will also give more volume. If you can't get any dry shampoo, try talcum powder, but be careful because it is white and might look a bit different.

Oily hair depends on a number of factors. The oil secretion from oil glands on the scalp is a primary cause. Sebum is produced by sebaceous glands located at the base of each hair shaft in the skin, including the scalp. Hormones also affect oil production and therefore things that affect your hormone levels such as stress or birth control pills can affect the oiliness of your hair. People with oily hair should wash their hair daily or every alternate with a good solvent-type shampoo or shampoos designed specifically to treat oily hair. Clarifying or anti-residue shampoos are also great to use on oily hair.
