I see, I thought you were turning back to your original color.
Are you going to use Mono on the dark spots now?

Mono is not permanent when you do not have vitiligo. The color just keeps coming back, which is why dark people should not use it.

You have to proceed and finish what you started.
You are the one who put depigmentation chemical/cream on your skin LOL what did you think.. Two days and you're done?
Stop crying on forums and start doing something with yourself.

Really:confused: With Mono? Monobenzone is the same as Benoquin?
I thought once you started that's it! No going back! Because if you stop the parts that lightened won't repigment and your stuck with two toned skin.
I thought it was all or nothing cream! That's why I never touched the stuff.

If you do not have vitiligo naturally, then it is more than likely that the color will come back if you quit using benoquin. This is because the body's pigment cells will keep making the color.

I remember on depig.com a few people who had used mono had followed up with benzl arbutin to maintain their light color since they wanted to quit with mono. I have no clue what is in benzl, but it was really working for some people.

So once you start depigmenting, you have to keep using the cream for upkeep. If you do really have vitiligo, the body destroys the pigment cells and helps the depigmentation process along and the color is less likely to come back.

I've always read benoquin destroys your cells ability to produce melanin in the skin and once it's gone it's gone! Never heard of "upkeep" with Mono/Benoquin! Up keep with lightening/hydroquinone but not with depigmenting.

Anyone ask about permanent lightening cream Monobenzone/Benoquin was always the answer. Having vitiligo will help the process work better I'm sure, not having vitiligo, very patchy results and I've seen pictures and some of those white spots are not going away and repigmenting at all, months later!

vitiligo ot not, it doesn't matter!
    You have to maintain
    quot:
    Benoquin Dosage and Administration
A thin layer of Benoquin Cream 20% should be applied and rubbed into the pigmented area two or three times daily, or as directed by physician. Prolonged exposure to sunlight should be avoided during treatment with Benoquin Cream 20%, or a sunscreen should be used.

Depigmentation is usually accomplished after one to four months of Benoquin Cream 20% treatment. If satisfactory results are not obtained after four months of Benoquin Cream 20% treatment, the drug should be discontinued. When the desired degree of depigmentation is obtained, Benoquin Cream 20% should be applied only as often as needed to maintain depigmentation (usually only two times weekly).
