    Regular robitussin or dm
    I am 16 weeks pregnant and have a bad badcough kept me up for three days well went to the er and they told me to take robitussin dm so went to buy it and ask the pharmasit and they said no only regular robitussin what do I take? :confused:

    Stormey, the pharmacist was correct about robitussin, but the best is nothing at all because anything in these cough medicines can harm the fetus.

    You have a lot of questions, stormey and if you have a regular pediatrician, an obgyn, please save up all your questions and ask the doctor how to proceed while you are pregnant. Be safe, rather then sorry.

    Regular Robitussin is fine Stormey, it won't hurt the fetus.
