How can I lighten my skin?
Hey evryone I was looking through anothre thread where this questio was asked and I was not able to post there so I thought I would just start my own question. Lol

I am intereted in using benoquin(sp?) to lighten my skin. I know that it is used for people who suffer from vitiligo but I want to use it for myself. I am of mixed heritage (African American and white, french white to be exact) and am not very dark, I would say lighter then Oprah but darker then vanessa williams, maybe as light as tyra banks. I would like to get 3 or 4 shades lighter without going all ghost like michael jackson did.
I was reading some answers by Vahid and a member named lovie1 who were using it and got good results. I want toknow where I can buy it and how do I mix it? Will I darken up after I stop? How long do I have to use it for before I see results? Three months... four months.. a year?

Thanksto anyone that answers and please none of the "love yourself first" I do love myself but would like ligher skin simply because I find it more beautiful then darker skin. Well except for Imaan, that woman is drop dead gorgeous.

Oh darn I am very sorry for the typos.

I wanted to add that I really do love myself and know I want this to be a permanent thing. I also want to know what side effects I may encounter.

    Hi!
I want to lighten my skin too but I am afraid of mono and that kind of stuff. I have used hydroquinone but nothing. However I have heard good feedbacks about makari. I think I am going to try it. Does anybody tried it? How was the result?

I recently read some used HQ 4% with retin-A but am unsure if what that is and if I should use them together or use them seperatly. I want to lighten my whole body. So could I apply this everywhere?

I don't know about maintaining, I don't know about anything permanent. Any maybe I don't know what complexion Tyra Banks is, but 3-4 shades lighter, sounds like Michael Jackson to me.

You sound like you have a really nice complexion. Is it even? Look into Diana Stalder. You may hear really good things.

Benoquin or monobenzone is not a lightener, it is depigmenting agent. No matter what strength or where you apply you will get patches, if you want to be lighter few shades, stay away from mono

Diana Stalder huh. Will her products lighten me? For me 3-4 shades shouldn't be michael jackson white but you are right it may be too light and look unatural.

I have heard of HQ being used with retin A and taking vitamin c pills but am not sure how well it would work.
My skin is a pretty even tone but my arms are darker,I live in California, then the rest of my body.
Do you or anyone know how well mega blast cream works?

Benoquin is not the answer... diana stalder products will not make you drasticaly white... and nothing gis permanent... I know buzz kill right?. but all the same.. try the HQ4 and RA use them together.. put the retinA on first then the HQ... nothing special.. just put it on your face or body like lotion... well the retin A... on your face just use it plain and apply on clean dry face then follow with the HQ.. For the whole body lots of people mix it )retin A) into a lotion... as well as the HQ4 not cause its so strong or anything but because the tube is small... just remember nothing will work miracles and if they claim to it's a scam more than liekly... and most creams on the market don't work well... and if it works really fast like in a week or a month its probably dangerous...

Ok so I out the retin A on first and then the hq 4 I am assuming the four means the percentage amount?
I am unsure about mixing it with creams, I do not want the chemicals to get alterd or anything.

I also read I could use Glutathione pills and take them with vitaim C pillls to help whitne my skn but am unsure of how well they work and I do not know where to buy them. I am new to the world of whitening

    Alizee!

Lots of people I have heard from are getting good lightening from Glutathione. But you have to continue using it like forever!

    Otherwise the effects disappear!

Yes 4 is the percentage, and don't worry about mixing with creams it doesn't bother it... most of us have done this... esp for all over the body... and you can try the pills too but they are slow and you have to keep using them.

Alizee- Two other people who I converse with everyday on another forum, have used glutathione.

The girl mentions she lightened really well when she was on it. But it was too expensive to continue with .

What dosage level was she on and do you know if she was combining it with anything else?

What percentage of retin should I use?

Regarding mixing: I have never done this so can I use any lotion like Nivea and do I mix a whole bottle of Hq qith a whole bottle of Nivea?
Should I also mix the Retin A?

I want to lighten my skin too,I have same color as christina gomez but there is a different between the parts of my body, some are whiter and some are darker , I really hate that, so I would rather find something permanent, I don't think creams would give any advantage, maybe a surgery or pills , I visited a doctor and he told it's not possible but I don't think he's a good doctor, anyway should I visit a doctor specialized in skin or plastic surgeries ? Can anyone answer me? Please please
