I left the office sick I was only in the office a few hours do I get paid for the hole day or do I have to be in the office 1/2 day to be paid the entire day

If a salaried exempt employee works any protion of a day than that salaried exempt employee must be paid for the whole day. It is legal to pay for that time with vacation and/or PTO or Sick pay if available. If not available the day still must be paid for.

Depends on: 1. Are you a salaried employee or an hourly employee.
2. What is the policy as stated in your employee handbook. 3. Do you have paid sick time? Need more info and state of residence.
