    HELP-hair dye removal
I'm only 15 I've only ever dyed my hair 3 times... I just want my natural colour back!!

My natural hair colour is medium/light brown and about 3/4 months ago I dyed my hair with a temporary red dye which claimed to wash out after 15-20 washes... but after about 30 washes it hadn't washed out and by then my hair had gone ginger so I decided to use a different brand of hair dye and temporarily dye my hair more of a red brown colour
So I did this and my hair turned out dark purple..
It said after 6-8 weeks it would wash out but 10 weeks later(I wash my hair nearly everyday) it still hadn't washed out and my hair wasn't remotly brown... more dark red... so about 3 days ago I attempted to dye my hair permanent light ash brown and now only the roots are light brown and the rest is dark... I need this colour to be gone in about 5 weeks as I am getting extensions which I want 2 match my natural colour... my hair is in good condition but I'm not intending on getting it stripped as I can't afford getting this done. Is prell shampoo any good? I know someone who is going to america next week is it any use in asking them to pick me up some? If I use it for a month will my hair be brown again?? I've tried using dandruff shampoo earlier but I don't think it did much HELP ME PLEASE :(:(:( I don't want to dye it again!! EVER

You are going to have to strip the artificial color off your hair and then deposit a color to match your natural shade. Do not attempt to do this yourself, it's a difficult process. Ask your mom to take you to the salon, so that the hairstylist can do a color correction.

Removal of too dark dye [ 2 Answers ]

I have naturally medium brown hair and for years have had lighter goldish highlights. Last week I decided to go darker for the winter.
