    Snow blower drive
I have a Honda HS55 snow blower that won't engage in 1st or second gear. 3rd and reverse work fine. I have tried adjusting a few cables but now luck.

Try this http://www.hondapowerequipment.com/p...s/31736000.pdf be sure that the shaft running from the hand control down to the unit is not bent or bowing. Sometimes that shaft is two shafts held in a straight line with 2 bolts and nuts, if one falls out the shaft will bow.

Fixed it. I adjusted the cable that goes to the drive box at the belt. Not sure what it does but it works great now.

I have a rather old crusader snowblower with a 7hp electric start tecumseh. I'm searching for a large friction wheel and a few other parts for it. I really have no idea who makes this unit... perhaps mtd? If anyone has any info on this, the model # on the unit is # 311-754
