    Hi I would be grateful if anyone can tell me how I can joint a 1x25mm cable which is supplying a crane on a vessel. Is there any kit in which I could purchase to carry out this repair if so what's it called and where could I purchase it from

    Try this WEB page. Many more are available. The splice kits will give you directions on how to apply the splice.
