    Tell me does this sound like an ear infection?
    My ears are hurting real bad I am feeling heavy pressure behind the ear drum my temperature is 99.5 and I am dizzy. Does this sound like a bad ear infection and what will happen if it goes untreated

    If it indeed an infection (middle ear? Eustachian tubes?), your ear drum could burst and/or you could suffer a hearing loss. Please go to your doctor.

    It could be an ear infection, or it could be a sinus infection that is building fluid up behind the ear drum. Time for an appt with your doctor for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

    P.S. 99.5 is not really considered a fever. We don't worry about fever until it hits at LEAST 100.4
