    Sci fi movie from the 90s
    I can't remember much about this movie besides the main character finds a suit or something that gives him powers and he travels through telephone lines I believe. It was in the 90s when I watched it but other than that I don't remember much at all

    It may be Wes Cravens's "Shocker". A man is executed and travel through electricity. This may be the movie you are talking about and was made in 89 I believe.
