She is so mean to me and it makes me mess up more
She is not my boss. She is always super mean to me she makes me feel stupid so I mess up more everything I do bothers her she wount really open up to me, she looks down on me and says mean comments I been here 9 months and still don't feel confident its an office job that is constantly changing. Why is she that way towards me? Should I say something? She has an attitude all the time and she will never admit when she is wrong she will blame it on something or someone else...
A lot of other jobs there is always some woman that picks on me and makes me feel like imnot smart enough, what can I do? Why are they that way? I try my best to do the work and not bother them!

You're bound to find these people in every office where there are more than 5 employees. Yes, they are the ones who have the real problem, but they always manage to twist things around and successfully accuse everyone else of their shortcomings. I worked with several of these people and it got to me as well. One individual was mildly retarded and thought she could just lord everything over me seeing that she was there longer than I was, etc. She was a real conniver (even though she was retarded!). In the end she was able to convince the higher ups that since she was there longer than I was that I was the one to have to be laid off. Yep. She got her wish. She was a real people manipulator.

The only defense against someone like that is to get away from them and get into another job. Yes, I know times are tough and all, but you will either have to put up with the putdowns, etc or get another job or grow a thicker skin or wait until another newbie comes along and she zeroes in on them and leaves you alone.

Learn to be indifferent, it sometimes hard bet the longer you try the better you'll do it! She likes your reaction, she thrives on it, emotional/psycho vampyre. Such people axists and the best thing is ( apart from crossing your legs and hands on your chest) is to ignore her.Whatever she says to you, you just bypass her and everyone who speaks to you in a inferior and harassing way. You are def! Never be rude as she or her coleagues likes you being angry and unhappy with yourself in that way they feel stronger . Make her angry by being indifferent to her and you will see the circus:o. Eventually you should regain your peace and she should find another victim.

Imma bartender in a busy local bar.. I have this manager who rides me like a pack mule, and not necessarily about bar stuff... On the other hand she treats the other bartenders with respect;even to a point where she lets them get away with things.Imma a career bartender(over 20 years)I know my job better than most and treats me like Im green by picking and poking at me all night.Ive complained on two other occasion to higher up,which she'll back off for a few weeks and then she's back at it... and I don't want to quit this job!!

I agree with the others. She sees it gets to you and it makes her feel like she has more power over you. Just do your job don't try to befriend her or win her over.
