    Replacing A/C Handler/Blower
    When replacing above, does everything else have to be replaced such as the thermostat, inside blower, etc. I've been told that if you have different makes, it will not work properly and/or it will not be energy efficient and could make for higher bills...

    Fact or Fiction?

    Fact: All new equipment is designed to work with new equipment. The most inportant areas of concern is the 13 SEER minimum rate of efficiency and the new style controle some units have.

    Now thermostats can usually be used but why would someone want to reuse the inside blower with the old non-efficient coil is anyone's guess.
