    Usb wireless adapter
    Trying to set up wireless usb adapter for desktop, windows 98 se

    Belkin adapter... just got off from customer service they gave up and said must be problem with computer??


    Router (belkin) works fine with laptop, and when I hardwire same desktop computer it works fine, signal is very strong on utility window on belkin screen, but when I click connect to use wireless adapter, I get a couple "hour glass" flashes and that is it... no connection

    Any ideas... thanks

    Windows 98 has known issue with USB devices.
    If Belkin don't have a driver for you then it's unlikely you will be able to get this to work on 98.
