    Foreclosure and 5 year lease? Does the tenant leave?
    For California. Does the tenet have the right to stay during the foreclosure process and afterward if they have a long term lease of 5+ years? Does the lease transfer from the property owner to the bank or government?

    Hello L:

    Your lease lasts until the date of foreclosure. It does NOT transfer.
