She's playing games with me. But why does she have to be so cold?
Long story short, I met this girl at my friends party and she's 18 I'm 21. We started talking and we got pretty close... and we get along great.. I don't usually get attached so I didn't take her seriously.

Well... SHE (I repeat... SHE) asked me out for dinner last night. And so I went and when I was almost there I called her and she said she was ready to come out... but she didn't.

So I was waiting in her driveway partly stunned thinking to myself... who the hell would be this friggin cold? I stayed there for like 20 minutes. I tried her cell but she ended the call twice.

Really weird considering she txts/calls me often. What a bi***.

Im 100% she won't be spending a single second of my time anymore... unless she comes in front of my doorstep with food and beer.

That being said... have you ever been in a fu***ed up situation like that?
I don't want to categorize... (cause some girls are nice =)... ) but this girl is just messed.
    my questions is why?

She may have her illogical reasoning for it but as you said I wouldn't go to her door again.
Let next time be on your terms...
If there is a next time.

Only she can explain her behavior. Maybe she got cold feet. Maybe her mother called her with a serious emergency. If 'n when you see her *on your terms* she needs to explain herself on the phone or when you get together. Otherwise, I wouldn't waste my time since she could just be unpredictable and unreliable.

Yeah even if she changed her mind...
It's just flat out mean to just leave a guy out there.. yes? No?

A simple "sorry i can't" wouldve been fine..

Yea I'm not disagreeing that that is a b*tchy thing to do, and VERY rude she didn't even call to say sorry or even lie and say she couldn't make it, which is why I think you should just forget about her. She has clearly wasted you time already, and with a mind like hers (changing so quickly), it means DANGER lol.

we actually hung out a couple of times,
it's just completely random how this just happened...
I think for any guy this would be a blow to your ego...

I'm probably done with her unless I get a massive apology.

Whatever reason she may have had she didn't share it,so chalking it up, and never going back is the only thing to do. Not every frog you kiss is a princess. You handled it the right way though, just leaving.

Oh and don't fall for an excuse like I didn't know you were out there, I didn't hear your car pull up, etc...
Because trust me when a girl is looking forward to going out with a guy and she knows he is going to be there any minute she is looking out the window constantly for at least 10 to 20 minutes before she expects him.

    Good point haha..
    Didn't even think about that.

Girls can be messed in the head sometimes..
If she did this as a joke... I'd be twice as pissed..
But then again... are there girls that are THAT messed up who would do that..
    Cause that's just low..

Yep guys can be just as messed up

My boyfriend told me he was hungry at midnight a couple weeks ago.
He was sitting out front in his car. I went to take him his food and he was pulling out of the driveway! The next evening he came over and his excuse was he wanted to see if I loved him enough to not get mad at him over it!!
I told him, "Fair warning -I want to see if you love me enough that you NEVER pull that again!!"

My ex used to always take off with no consideration and when he pulled that it was like major bad flashback.

When you knocked on the door and/or rang the doorbell, what happened? I KNOW you didn't just pull up in the driveway and honk or text her to come out, right? I KNOW you didn't do that!

J B has a great point. If you didn't get out of your car and treat this as a serious date she may have been offended. You never know if she changed her mind, thought she didn't want to be seen in your car? She may be insecure, she may be younger than you think. Have you checked her ID.

He said he would be right there and she told him she would be RIGHT OUT
So she acknowledged and consented that he would not be knocking at the door.
    Way many do it nowadays.

Are you saying you have talked to her since when you say she calls and texts?

Yeah I have and we've been really cool.
She said she'd be right out.
I was waiting in my car for about 10 minutes... then I called, no reply.
Called again to make sure.. no reply.

    But yeah long story short...
She texted back with an "im sorry, it was because of... blah blah"
I didn't text back... she ended up calling late at night..
Don't ask me why I picked up but I did...
She explained, more blah blah, then she wanted to plan another time to go out.
And so we did.. except this time I didn't drive all the way there..

I texted her if we were still good tonight..
She texted back saying "i have other things to do.."
And so I texted back, in exact words, "ok."

Yeah.. I give up.. I'm not trying with this one anymore.. haha.
Unless she really gets it together... because I know if a girl wants to spend time with you
She'll make 100% sure that she gets the chance to..

    What do you guys think?

    Haha, its easy to say...
    But on a scale from 1- 10, I'd say she's a 9 maybe 9.5.

I know, I know... its wrong to think like that..
Don't hate.. but still.. truth is, we're all guys..
And it makes it harder.. haha.

I'll make her work for it though...
    Yeah? No?

She's bailed on you twice. Leave it for now, she's not worth the hassle mate. Just because she's a 9 or 9.5 doesn't mean you keep hanging on. Find another 9 or 9.5 that doesn't play games.
