Problem with GE Freestanding Gas Stove
I am having problems with my oven. When it is in bake mode it turns on and heats up for a minute than it shuts off. The burner appears to be slightly still on but it will not heat up to temperature. The broiler works and will burn to temperature. Any ideas?

It's hard to get specific without a model number, and I wonder if you are seeing the HSI (Hot surface ignitor) start to glow and then shut off or is the burner actually lit (really small flame) and then it goes out? Make sure to replay with the model number so I can find out what system is in your oven. Thanks.
