I am a child with severe abdominal pain
I have recently been experiencing severe abdominal pain and it is in a abnormal spot on the upper middle and the upper right sections of the abdomen.I don't know what that could signify? Can anyone help narrow down and give me suggestions of what it might be?The doctors are concerned that it is appendicitis but I do not have a swollen appendix does that still mean I could have appendicitis?Don't be fooled by my mature talk I am only a child!

How old is only a child? (just curious).
Did the Doctors do many tests? Do you remember any of them?
Does it hurt when you do certain things, breathing, moving? Is the pain in the front or back? Are you sick in other ways... vomiting?
I'm sure the doctors won't let anything happen to you though, so don't worry so much. I do hope you feel better though! :)

Well, I might say it's good they didn't find anything. But then again I'm not a doctor.
The good news it's probably not cancer or anything like that, they'd of probably seen a tumor.
I looked in to some stuff I know about sarcoidosis and even plerusy but the'd of seen sarcoidosis on the x-ray.
What about your lymph nodes? Are they swollen?
Try WebMD - Better information. Better health. and click on symptom checker. They have lots of stuff on there, that might help or just Google your symptoms.
Hope you feel better!

I would make sure to keep in touch with your doctors, and write down all your symptoms, when you have pains and trouble breathing, etc. That may come in handy later. I have had abdominal pain for 6 months now and after many tests and x-rays they couldn't diagnose anything so basically told me to suck it up. Hopefully your doctors take better care of you and can find whatever it is that is making you sick. Did they check your pancreas?

They should check everywhere... pancreas, stomach, intestines... write down all the syptoms and time of day when they occur. Good luck!
