    Germinating lavender
    Hi,

I am growing lavender from seed having planted it about 2 weeks ago.

I live in the Middle East so germination now should not be a problem.

However, we are having unseasonable cold weather with extreme temperatures dropping to approx 4 degrees C. (apologies for all of you living in sub zero climes, but believe me, this is freezing for us!)

I think the cold weather is the cause for no signs of growth. Should I just wait and hope something will happen.

I have brought the pots inside

    Thanks

I planted lavender for the first time this year. The plants have grown quickly and have many blooms. Could someone tell me at what stage I pick these blooms to dry for their fragrances. They are in different stages of blooming.

What is the most effective way to germinate grass seeds? It is for my art project and I've seen it being done with cotton wool but were do I start?
