    Venting bathroom plumbing
    Is there a certain size of pipe required to vent a bathroom?

    Yes, it depends on how many and what size fixtures are pulling from that vent.

    Most bathrooms are vented off the lavatory using 2" pipe unless the plumber decides to make it the main house vent in which case it will increased to 3" Regards, Tom
