My rights have been viloated I told a collection agency not call me at work they told my grandfather that they were going to talk to my boss at work can they do that? And can they threaten me like that on the phone?

Can they tell your gradfather they are going to call your boss, most likely they can say they will, they just can't call and actually talk to your boss, until they are filing a wage garnishment
