    Litlle black dot
Hi, was wondering if anyone might know what this could be...
I got this really small black (maybe dark red) dot in the far back of my mouth on the right side, just above my farthest molar. Anyone have any ideas?

    Is it in the tooth?

    Or maybe on the skin...

I'm not sure. If it's in the skin, it might be a burn, or a canker sore, maybe just a fold in your mouth?

    Does it hurt?

Is there any chance that you could have bitten yourself? It sounds like it could be a blood blister.
How long has it been there? Is it raised? Does it move when you push on it? If you put your thumb on it and your pointer finger of the same hand on the outside of your cheek can you feel a bump? If it's been there for more than a week and has changed in size or colour, I'd recommend you see a dentist as soon as you can. You want to rule out oral cancer.

Well, it doesn't hurt, I only noticed it because I was yawning in front of a mirror, it doesn't even hurt when I touch it, I was just curious.

Well, if it's still there in a week, I'd still get it looked at.
