    Replacing thermostat
    I'm replacing an old weathertron thermostat with a hunter 44110 one, having trouble with the wires. 8 from the old unit and 5 on the new one

    You have the wrong style thermostat. Take it back and get the correct one. Then read the directions to hook up.
