    How long must I wear retainer?
    I had braces for 2 years, and have worn my retainer for years. Recently it does not fit well. Must I continue to wear it?

    Go back to orthodontist your teeth have moved, he will adjust them to you.

    Yup, you must go see your orthodontist. If you go to the same orthodontist, it should be free of charge. He/She will fix the problem.

    It's better to continue wearing your retainer in order to avoid your teeth to move.

    You should see your orthodontist and have your retainer checked. If you have been out of braces for some time you should probably try your retainer in at least every other week. If things don't feel right, continue to wear your retainer until your teeth move back to where they were. Keep your retainer somewhere safe so it doesn't get bent.

    I would wear my retainer until I saw my orthodontist! Your teeth can move back to where they were before your braces! I had them and they did!
