    I am in a rural area - dogs which are taken hunting and do not hunt or cannot be controlled or shot on a fairly regular basis. The inhumanity of it all is stomach turning.

    And greyhounds - in the US it's a sharp pick to the heart.

    I was interested in adopting a grey hound, unfortuanlty I don't think we would be a good match. I can not stand what those animals have gone through. I get so happy to see when more grey houd rescues are opened.
    I think racing, of any kind, in inhumane. Well except human and cars... But horse and dog races, I think it's aweful.
    I know people say Grey Hounds are born and bred to run, it just seems cruel to me.

    Just thought I'd let everyone know that Willie went to his new forever home last weekend. His people absolutely adore him! And apparently, he's house trained!
