    Controlling Wild Onions
    I've always had a few wild onions in my yard, but this year they just seem to have gotten out of control. I use a pre-emergent but my brother thinks that isn't helping wild onions since they aren't broadleaf. (And obviously it didn't help.)

    Round Up will certainly kill them, but the grass will go with them.

    I've got more crabgrass/foxtail than usual too. It's like the lawn went nuts this year or something. But that I can get rid of.

    I can pull up the wild onion fairly easily, especially in fall when they get more bulb on them. But pulling them up is getting tedious since there's so many. I googled it and only found one place that said anything, which was using vinegar into the ground - but will that kill grass as well?
