Hi, Rick or Ben for that matter!
Does that mean that people can buy, sell and trade using this site? Maybe even offer their services concerning a business that they have? If so, would it only be in this forum topic area and not others?
My personal thoughts are, that if someone is just looking for trading and selling of collectible items, that maybe the forum topic areas where collectibles and the like are posted, that maybe those types of areas should be opened up to that. Art, Books & Literature, Collectibles, Crafts, Hobbies, Other Arts & Leisure and Sports Collectibles might be possible areas to open up to that sort of buying, selling and trading. Just a thought...
Those sort of areas would seem to be less prone to scamming and spamming. But, I can also see the possibility of them becoming slopped up with the buying, selling and trading of stuff because of people just needing to find threads where there might need to be just information about that which they wanted to know concerning an antique and/or collectible or other item of potential monetary value.
Perhaps there could be sub-topics to those areas where buying, selling and trading could occur? Perhaps also, those might be areas where the solicitation for contact outside of the site would be okay, as long as no personal contact information was included in the posts?
Again, just my thoughts...
