Well you can put one leg on a coffee table or somewhere elevated and turn side ways so your doing your middle split but it stretches it moree.

Well, you could lay flat on your back and get somebody to hold your knee down. What you do is the person holding your knee will push the leg your pulling it with down and that should work :)

Im thinking you're probably a little better now that its be een a while, But Like you can do one legs but at half extensions, have the flyers pull positions in halfs
