Model numbers are usually on top of fan housing. You probably need receivers for the remotes.

No such thing as a universal remote no matter what it says on the box!

You can get a new swich from Hunter @ 1-888-830-1326. Need the model # which is a 5 digit # starting with a 2. It will be on top of motor housing.

Hampton Bay fans aren't worth fixing ( or buying ).

It's posible the chain has to go through another hole in the fitter before it goes through the glass. Also,I would never buy a store brand fan.

Cheap store brand. If you want a good fan don't purchase a store brand. You get what you pay for.

Very easy. Just buy another swich and just hook it up the same way you take the other one out.

It could be the capisator or the remotr receiver. Also, It's a store brand which uses cheaper low end parts.

I agree with ceilingfanrepair. You shouldn't use a dimmer on a ceiling fan. Also, you have a store brand fan which usually uses lower end parts.
